Baybars began to plunder Damascus with his mamluks next to him. The ruler of Damascus, Melik Nasır, sent Emir Mucireddin ibn Zekir to Baybars with 1000+ soldiers. Baybars who defeated the Damascus Forces in the battle with a brilliant tactic, offered peace to Melik Nasir. Melik Nasir, who didn’t have the strength to resist Baybars, had to accept it and Baybars entered Damascus.[1][2]
