Background and Aftermath[edit]
At first Georgians entered the city of Gali with 1000 soldiers. The Abkhazians met Georgians with 1400 soldiers. The Georgians were well prepared for this battle. The battle lasted for only 1 day, which ended by Georgian victory. Abkhazians retreated to Ochamchire.[1][2][3]
