Battle of Kruty (2022)
The battle of Kruty was fought on two phases on 28 February and then again on 1 March 2022, similarly to a previous battle from over a hundred years ago, taking place between the villages of Pamyatne and Khoroshe Ozero during the Russian war against Ukraine. Russian forces eventually withdrew from the Chernihiv Oblast in early April.[2][3]

28 February[edit]
On 28 February, as a result of the fire impact of MLRS BM-27 Uragan the movement of the Russian column was delayed.[4][5]
1 March[edit]
On 1 March, between the villages of Pamyatne and Khoroshe Ozero, there was a second battle between the Armed Forces and the Territoria Defense Forces against the Russian Armed Forces. The bodies of 200 dead Russian soldiers and officers in 2 KAMAZ trucks were transported through the village of Plysky to the Sumy Region.[6][1]
