The Battle of Kyiv is an ongoing military battle that is taking place as a part of Russia's Kyiv Offensive during its 2022 invasion of Ukraine. On 25 February 2022, Russian forces entered Kyiv from the north, after breaking through a Ukrainian resistance at the Battle of Ivankiv. Russian forces are engaged in battle in Obolon district of Kyiv.[1] An earlier group of Russian saboteurs disguised as Ukrainian soldiers were defeated.[2]
