The Battle of Nanauta in July 1710 was fought between the Sikh forces led by Banda Singh Bahadur and the Mughal forces of Nanauta.
After the Sikhs conquered Saharanpur in the Battle of Saharanpur, they captured the neighbouring towns of Behat and Ambheta.[1] During the monsoon season, Nanauta was easily captured by the Sikhs.[2][3] The place was fully plundered.[4] From Nanauta Banda Singh wrote a letter to faujdar Jalal Khan of Jalalabad which lead to Battle of Jalalabad (1710).
