Abimbola Oladokun (born 25 June 1997) known professionally as Bayanni, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.[1][2] He signed a record deal with Mavin Records.[3][4][5]
Early life
Bayanni was born in Lagos State, Nigeria, and then moved further to begin his degree education at the University of Lagos, graduating in Nigeria. While growing up, he was moved by musical instruments, which prompted him to learn music because his family are musically talented.
Career
Bayanni spent many years trying to make it since 2017. When he started freestyling and releasing it on social media platforms, he didn't get enough attention until he made a freestyle remix of the song Jowo, which was made by the Nigerian singer Davido, and it went viral, gaining many people’s attention, which led to his fame and getting signed to Mavin Records. Later, he released an eponymous EP titled Bayanni.[6][7]
