Beachboy is the debut album released by McCafferty (band), a punk rock band based out of Medina, Ohio. It was released on Monkey Boy Records on January 2, 2014.[1]
The album is a representation of McCafferty's early acoustic pop punk sound, and features storytelling and emotive delivery. Along with 2017's Thanks. Sorry. Sure., Beachboy stands as one of McCafferty's most recognized works.

"Becky" is seen as a companion piece to "Jeff," the first song off of the band's Forest Life EP. "Bottom" details the band's feelings toward comparisons made to The Front Bottoms and the treatment they received from The Front Bottoms' fanbase. The topics of death and friendship persist throughout the album.
