Beacon Publishing Group acquired numerous imprints since its inception. In May 2014, Beacon Publishing Group and Alumni Media agreed to a publishing and distribution deal for Alumni's new imprint, Fox Book Press, beginning in summer 2014.
In June 2017, Beacon announced that it would begin to publish children's books. In a deal, Beacon would distribute University Press books; 25 books would be published and distributed. University's books relating to children and young adult titles will join the Beacon Publishing Group imprint worldwide.
