Beagle is an artificial intelligence (AI) start-up company based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. It attempts to work out what information is useful for a reader based on their requirements, and feeds this back into its self-learning engine.[1][2][3] The engine provides the end user a list of results based on user activity.[4] The company was started in order to automatically review documents and contracts that would be cumbersome for a human to do.[5][6]
In 2015, Microsoft announced Beagle as one of the startups to become part of its Seattle-based Ventures Accelerator program. It provided Beagle with the necessary mentorship and technology for it to further develop.[7][8]
