The Bearskin State Trail is a 21.5-mile (34.6 km) rail trail between Minocqua, Wisconsin and Tomahawk, Wisconsin. It is designed for foot, bicycle, equestrian, and snowmobile traffic. It is designated as a multi-use trail, offering recreational access to the routes, and is open to the public. The Bearskin State Trail is built on a former railway corridor and follows Bearskin Creek. The original railroad was utilized to transport white pine from Northern Wisconsin to the cities of the Midwest.[1]
