From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Beaudette Foundation was headquartered at Solvang, California from the late 1950s to 1960s. The focus was on marine biology and oceanography in the region of the tropical eastern Pacific, most notably Mexico, but including the Galapagos, and Central America. Elmer Yale Dawson was a crucial member of the Beaudette Foundation as a number of articles written by him were published in their journal known as Pacific Naturalist.[1][2]
