Before Valentine's is a 2022 rom-com Nollywood movie produced by Michelle Bello and starring Baaj Adebule, Temidayo Adenibuyan, Venita Akpofure, Shawn Faqua, Meg Otanwa, Uche Montana, Ngozi Nwosu,Yvonne Jegede Elozonam Ogbolu, Inem King, Ben Touitou and many others.[1] The movie was distributed and co-produced by Filmone and was launched on Netflix on February 3, 2023.[2]

Synopsis[edit]

Before Valentines tells the wild family drama and love story of four hairdressers at a luxurious Lagos salon preparing for the most romantic day of the year, February 14 'Valentine's Day'.

The movie features four main characters (the hairdressers) whose love life unravel a day before valentines, as it turns out the most anticipated romantic day of their lives turned out to be a day of chaos unraveling many untold secrets.[3]

The Nigeria’s first actual Valentines movie set in and about the love season was debuted in Cinemas across Nigeria on February 12, 2022 and was the number 1 Nollywood film at the box office the week of its release. The movie was released on Netflix on February 3, 2023. [2]
