Behemoth's World is a painting by the British artist Richard Clifton-Dey. It first appeared as the album cover for the American rock band Blue Oyster Cult's Cultösaurus Erectus in 1980. It later Appeared in the book "Tour of the Universe: The Journey of a Lifetime : the Recorded Diaries of Leio Scott and Caroline Luranski" by Robert Holdstock and Malcolm Edwards, and in 1986, appeared as the cover of "The Mammoth Book of Short Science Fiction Novels" (edited by Isaac Asimov). It eventually appeared as the cover art for the 1991 video game Ork. It most recently appeared as the cover of George Mann's "The Mammoth Encyclopedia of Science Fiction" in 2001.[1][not in citation given][2][not in citation given]
