Behrouz Sebt Rasoul (Persian: بهروز سبط رسول) born July 7, 1970 is an Iranian independent filmmaker, director, screenwriter and producer. His latest film Melody has been submitted by Tajikistan for the 96th Academy Awards, the country's first entry in 18 years.[1][2][3][4]
Life and career[edit]
He has created drama and documentary films both short and long. Using non-actors is one of traits of his films as he thinks using non-actors can help the story to be more believable.[5] His films have been received in Iranian and international film festivals. He is the founder and managing director of Nama Film company.[6]
