Behrouz Sebt Rasoul (Persian: بهروز سبط رسول) born July 7, 1970 is an Iranian independent filmmaker, director, screenwriter, and producer. His latest film Melody has been submitted by Tajikistan for the 96th Academy Awards, the country's first entry in 18 years.[1]
Life and career[edit]
Sebt Rasoul has created both short and feature-length drama and documentary films. He often uses non-actors in his films to enhance believability. His works have been showcased in both Iranian and international film festivals. He is the founder and managing director of Nama Film company.[2]
