Beirut Yacht Club
The Beirut Yacht Club (B.Y.C.) (French: Yacht Club de Beyrouth) is an international yacht club based in Beirut. It was founded in 1954 by a presidential decree issued by Lebanese president Camille Chamoun[1]to the Lebanese sailor Fred Zebouni.[2] The first international yacht club for the Lebanese and foreign community,[3] it is located in the Port of Beirut, in an ancient lighthouse.
Regattas[edit]
Beirut Yacht Club hosted international sailing regattas such as The Flying Dutchman (dinghy) Championships,[4][5][6] and local, regional, national sailing regattas such as The Baltic, McClintok and Kettaneh Championships.[7][8][9][10]
