Belén Ysabel García Mendoza (born 15 October 1977) is a Peruvian politician serving as Institutional General Secretary of the Peruvian Aprista Party since 2021.[1]
A regional politician, García ran in 2006 and 2010 for Ica Province Council. At the 2016 general election, she unsuccessfully ran for a seat in Peruvian Congress representing the Ica Region.[2]
García succeeded Elías Rodríguez as Institutional General Secretary on 24 October 2021 following the latter's expulsion from the party for alleged treason, as she was deputizing for the position at the time.[3]
