Bell Bottom is an upcoming Indian spy thriller film directed by Ranjit M Tewari,[1] written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh,[2][3] and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani under the banner of Pooja Entertainment, in association with Emmay Entertainment.[4][5] Based on true events,[6] the film stars Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi in lead roles.[7][8][9] Bell Bottom is set in 1980s and is the story of one of India's forgotten heroes. Principal photography was start in the United Kingdom on 20 August 2020.[10][11][12] The film is scheduled to release on April 2, 2021.[13]

The film was earlier scheduled to release in January 2021, but it was pushed to April 2, 2021 release to avoid a clash with Akshay's other film Bachchan Pandey.[17]
