'Salem’s Lot is an upcoming American horror film directed and written by Gary Dauberman, based on the 1975 novel of the same name by Stephen King.

Plot[edit]

Writer Ben Mears returns to his childhood hometown Jerusalem's Lot (or 'Salem’s Lot for short), only to discover that the residents are becoming vampires.

Development[edit]

In April 2019, it was announced that a film adaptation of 'Salem's Lot was in development, with Gary Dauberman serving as writer and executive producer and Roy Lee, Mark Wolper and James Wan serving as producers.[1] In April 2020, it was announced that Dauberman would direct the film.[2]

Filming[edit]

Principal photography is expected to begin in September 2021.[3]
