Ben Davies is an American actor with starring roles in the Sony Pictures film Courageous,[1] Sony Pictures film War Room and the Pure Flix film I'm Not Ashamed. He was nominated for Best Male Actor for his lead role in Vindication by International Christian Film Festival and The Attic Film Festival.
While on an athletic scholarship at the University of Georgia, Davies suffered a shoulder injury and was unable to complete for six months. That's when he received a call to audition for the lead role of Rookie Cop David Thompson in "Courageous".[2] Starring roles in ten independent feature films soon followed including "New Hope"[3] and "Rumors of Wars."
Davies stars in the 2016 PureFlix film, "I'm Not Ashamed" the true story of Rachel Joy Scott.[4] Davies performance speaking at Rachel's funeral was inspired by the CNN footage from Rachel's funeral that was said to be the most viewed event in CNN history in April 1999.[5]
Davies was an All American decathlete while attending the University of Georgia.[6]
