Ben Osa Bush, known as Ben Priest, (born January 15, 1974) in Cross River State, Nigeria, is a Nigerian reggae singer, producer, songwriter, and guitarist. He is known for his songs "Mr. Freeman" and "Tribute to Lucky Dube".
Career
Known for his exceptional vocals, he became the lead vocalist for the late reggae legend Lucky Dube's official band in South Africa.[2][3]
Accolades
In 2017, his album "Freeman" sold over 400,000 units in Africa. In 2018, he received the prestigious Africa Monarch honour "Obaland Royal Awards" for Nigeria's best reggae songwriter, alongside other prominent reggae artists such as Sizzla, Queen Ifrica, Chronixx, Daddy Fresh, Winning Jah, Eedris Abdulkareem, Shatta Wale, and forty others.[4][5][6]
