Benard Ifeanyi Odoh (born 5 August 1975) is a Nigerian politician who was appointed the Secretary to Ebonyi State Government by Governor Dave Umahi and resigned in 2018.[1]
Political career
Odoh commenced his political career by running for Senate under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), but lost to Senator Obinna Ogba of the People's Democratic Party in the 2015 general elections.[1] He was later appointed Secretary to the State Government of Ebonyi State by Governor Dave Umahi in May 2015.[2] He resigned from his position in April 2018 and subsequently joined the All Progressives Congress.
In 2019, Odoh was a candidate in the Ebonyi State gubernatorial elections under the All Progressives Congress but lost in the primaries to Sonni Ogbuoji.[3]
