Benebell Wen (born September 24, 1981) is a New Age author, professional tarot reader, and corporate attorney practicing law in the San Francisco Bay Area.[1] She is a certified tarot master through the Tarot Certification Board of America.[2]

Her book Holistic Tarot: An Integrative Approach to Using Tarot for Personal Growth, published by North Atlantic Books, asserts that tarot symbology is used to tap into subconscious knowledge.[3] As a Taiwanese American[4] and I Ching practitioner,[2] the integrative approach to tarot that Wen espouses combines the theory of Qi energy[5] and East Asian metaphysical principles to tarot reading.[6] Holistic Tarot won the Tarosophy Awards of 2014 for Best Mass-Market Book[7] and has been cited as an essential treatise on tarot studies.[8]

Wen grew up in Vestal, New York and graduated from Vestal High School. She then went on to attend Binghamton University,[9] graduating with a B.A. in Creative Writing and Rhetoric. Wen also attended the Santa Clara University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in New York and California.[10] Wen now resides in Castro Valley, California.
