Mr. Benson Sande Ndeta (born in February 15th, 1972 ), is a Kenyan businessman, certified architect, entrepreneur, industrialist and philanthropist. He is a Director at Savannah Cement, in which he is the largest individual shareholder.[1][2]

He has served as the chairman of the following companies:

  • The East African Portland Cement Company a position he was a nominated chairman between 2003 to 2008 [3] by the third president of the republic of Kenya His Excellency Hon. Mwai Kibaki.
  • He is currently the chairman of Savannah Cement [4] a joint venture bringing together Savannah Heights—a consortium of local investors, Wan-Ho, a Chinese investment firm and Catic Cement.
  • Adventis Inhouse Africa
  • Rapid Communications Limited.

He also serves as a board member at SOS Children's Villages in Kenya[5] and is a Council Member of the Architectural Association of Kenya [6]

Mr Ndeta is the only outsider extensively mentioned in the report as a flamboyant businessman Benson Ndeta, the face behind Savannah Cement for the Report as a top managers on the spot over rot in Mumias Sugar Scandal . The businessman denies having dealt with Mumias before or after the sugar importation deal that is touted as one of the many reasons that the sugar miller has risked closure.[7]
