Berkeley, July 1, 1978 is a live album by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, released June 18, 2021, and is the 68th official release through the Bruce Springsteen Archives. The show was recorded on July 1, 1978 at the Berkeley Community Theatre in Berkeley, CA during the Darkness on the Edge of Town Tour.

Background

The performance of "Prove It All Night" was recorded and broadcast on Los Angeles radio station KMET on July 4, 1978, and the performances of "Prove It All Night" and "Paradise by the 'C'" were broadcast on the King Biscuit Flower Hour on July 9, 1978. Springsteen's parents and sister, who lived in nearby San Mateo, were in the audience.
