Betano is a sports betting company headquartered in Greece. It is owned by the KGIL betting group. This international online sports betting platform has a presence in several countries around the world, including Brazil, Portugal, Germany, Romania, Greece, Ecuador, Chile, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Cyprus.[1][2]
The company was founded in 2013, but it wasn't until 2019 that it began investing in sports sponsorships. Betano it's a betting company that is heavily active in the Brazilian market, sponsoring some football teams and important competitions in the country. [3]

In November 2023, Betano had partnerships with several clubs around the world, including Porto, Sporting, Benfica, Braga, and Marítimo in Portugal; Olympiacos, PAOK, and Panathinaikos in Greece; Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Republic; Universidad de Chile in Chile; Atlético Mineiro and Fluminense in Brazil, among others.
In 2022, Betano became the first betting company to sponsor the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
