Beto Sargentelli, stage name of Roberto Haderchpek Sargentelli Filho (born October 17, 1991), is an award-winning Brazilian actor, singer, musician, composer and Producer. He was born in São Paulo, and is a second-degree nephew of Oswaldo Sargentelli as well as a relative of Lamartine Babo.

Recognized by specialized critics.[1] as one of the promising names of the new generation of actors, the artist guaranteed for the last 6 years the achievement of 9 Best Actor Awards among 13 nominations received to the principal awards in Brazil; among them the Bibi Ferreira Award.[2], considered as the Brazilian Tony Award, the Aplauso Brazil Award[3](3 times), the Arte Qualidade Brazil Award[4]and the Broadway World Brazil Award[5]

He starred in most of the Broadway shows in Brazil, including:

"The Last 5 Years"[6] as Jamie Wellerstein;

"Billy Elliot "[7] as Tony Elliot;

"Godspell"[8] as Judas;

"We Will Rock You "[9] as Galileo;

"Sister Act " as Pablo;

In 2021, Beto will star in "West Side Story"[17] by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim, his 13th Broadway musical in Brazil between another 30 theater plays in his career. The actor will play the lead role Tony , a character inspired by Romeo, under the direction of the duo Charles Möeller e Cláudio Botelho and the conductor Cláudio Cruz.

He also was announced as one of the protagonists of Brazilian rock-opera production American Idiot that will have the direction Mauro Mendonça Filho.[18] 

In 2019 it launched "Nas 4 Estações"[19], his first single, with music production by Latin Grammy winner Hélio Bernal. Simultaneously the song clip was released, in addition to the launch show held in the theater Paris 6 Burlesque[20]

Recently, the actor could be seen in the only episode recorded in Brazil of the English series of Netflix, Black Mirror[21]

Graduated in Bachelor and Degree in Performing Arts by Faculdade Paulista de Artes and acting for film by Wolf Maya Actor’s School , Beto Sargentelli started his artistic career at 12 years old studying guitar, theater and acting in advertising films. After a few years in independent theater companies, he joined his first musical theater show at age 17.

In his career he was under the direction of Brazilian and international names such as Jerry Zaks, Jorge Takla, Julie Taymor, John Stefaniuk, Steve Bebout, Alonso Barros, José Renato Pécora, Marllos Silva, Dagoberto Feliz, Breno Silveira, João Fonseca and Charles Möeller and is considered by the specialized critic, as one of the promising names of the new generation of actors in the country due to his versatility in each role he plays, guaranteeing for the last 6 consecutive years winning 9 Best Actor Awards among 13 nominations received for the respected awards in the country; among them the Bibi Ferreira Award, considered the Brazilian Tony Award, the Aplauso Brasil Award, the Art Quality Brazil Award and the international Broadway World Brazil Award.

He is the most recent winner of the "Bibi Ferreira Award" 2019 of 'Best Actor' for his performance in the Broadway show "The Last 5 Years", the official Brazilian version of the musical by Jason Robert Brown, under the direction of João Fonseca.
