BETTER Mobile Security, Inc. (or simply BETTER) is a privately owned mobile security company based in the United States, with offices at One World Trade Center in New York City.[1][2] Fortune reports that according to a Gartner report, cyber security companies are still working to develop a full suite of services, but named BETTER as an early leader in mobile threat defense field.[3] BETTER was founded in 2011. In November 2014, the company closed a $1.5 million seed round.[4]
BETTER provides organizations, as part of its services, the visibility to apply mobile security policies to threats that it identifies. In addition, providing a solution that integrates into existing workflows. BETTER offers support and protection solutions for applications, web, network, device and operating system-based threats.
In addition to health care, the company has a growing focus in capital markets and government security, where data breaches may be especially harmful. [5]

BETTER actively predicts and protects "bring your own device" (BYOD) and corporate-owned iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices from the full array of mobile threats. It remediates both known and unknown mobile weaknesses including malware, network, and OS-level threats.
Leadership[edit]
BETTER's executives group includes top enterprise security industry and entrepreneurial veterans in the technology space. BETTER was founded in 2011 by its chief technology officer (CTO), Senai Ahderom.[6][7] Co-founder Azi Cohen serves as Chairman. Ahderom and Cohen are joined by CEO John Fowlkes, VP of worldwide sales Purna Bhat and VP of product and marketing Jason Sloderbeck as BETTER's executive leaders.

Web and Content
To combat phishing attempts to employees' phones and computers, BETTER guards against malicious links which may originate from text messages, WhatsApp, iMessage, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more.
Device / OS
In order to mitigate mobile device and operating system (OS) vulnerabilities, BETTER offers defense against advanced jailbreak attacks and risk associated with device configurations. It also offers control of device versions, including CVEs based on Android patch levels and iOS versions.
Network Threats
