Better off Dead is the 26th novel in the Jack Reacher series and was published on 26 October 2021.[1] It is the second Jack Reacher book to be co-authored by James Grant and his younger brother Andrew Grant but published using their respective pen names of Lee Child and Andrew Child.[2]
Plot summary[edit]
After finding an abandoned vehicle crashed on a deserted road, Reacher soon finds himself trying to locate the missing brother of an FBI agent.[1]
Reception[edit]
Publishers Weekly noted "Even those for whom this is their first Reacher novel will be clamoring for more".[3]
Kirkus Reviews described the writing as unmemorable but concluded it was nevertheless a fun read for some readers.[4]
