Brad Markovitz, better known by his stage name, Bezz Believe, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He is noted for producing country trap, southern rap, and MAGA rap music.[1] In addition to producing music, Bezz Believe and his brother are involved in several businesses, one of which is a relaxation beverage company, Legal Lean.[1]
Background
Bezz Believe grew up in South Florida.[2] He has a brother, Nick Anderson, an entrepreneur,[3] also known as Doug Markovitz.[2]
Bezz Believe was in his senior year, pursuing Interdisciplinary studies at the University of Central Florida (UCF), before taking a break from college to pursue his music career.[2]
Career
Music
Bezz Believe began his career in rap music while still in high school, and expanded it while studying at UCF.[4] He composed rap songs about random students at the university and performed freestyle rap for the university website, knightnews.com.[2]
Bezz Believe's first mixtape, Live from Niagara Falls was released through knightnews.com[4] His second mixtape, #Ibelieve was launched on his own website.[4]
By 2022, Bezz Believe released his album, Country Trapper 2.[1]
Business
His brother, Nick, is in charge of the business side of his brother's career. At first, Nick founded the company Doin' Big Things Entertainment to promote Bezz's music.[2] Later on, an official Bezz Believe website was launched, and he formed his own record label, Hustle God.[5]
Bezz Believe's music is distributed directly through streaming services[1] and through his own website.[6] In addition to his music, Bezz Believe's official website sells merchandise such as autographed albums, tickets and VIP access to his tours. The site also offers opportunities in the form of pay packages to co-produce music with Bezz Believe or perform onstage during his tour.[6]
The brothers also owned a nightclub that they later converted into a liquor store. They also sell a line of relaxation beverages, Legal Lean.[1] Legal Lean is a company founded by Nick Anderson.[3]
Collaborations
While still at UCF, Bezz Believe performed as an opening act for the likes of Big Sean and Drake.[2]
In September 2016, the Bread Winners Association record label, in collaboration with Hustle God record label, released Bezz Believe's song and video, Disappear, featuring Kevin Gates and OG Bobbie Black.[4]
Bezz's mixtape, Hustle God 2, released in 2017, featured a guest appearance by Gucci Mane[1]
The music video for the song Herculeez Remix, released in 2017, features former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal. O'Neal wrote a verse that was added to Bezz's original Herculeez song.[1][7]
Bezz Believe produced the rap single, Proud American, with fellow MAGA rapper Forgiato Blow in 2018.[1]
In 2022, Bezz Believe, along with Forgiato Blow released the album Trap N Trump.[1]
