Mitchell Similton (born February 20, 1986 in Concord, North Carolina, United States),[1] better known for his stage name Banknote Mitch is an American rapper.[2][3]
Career[edit]
He was born in Concord, North Carolina and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina.[4][5]
Mitchell started to focus on his career as a recording artist, after the birth of his first child.[6] He worked with Slip-N-Slide Records, Roc-A-Fella Records and G-Unit Records. It led him to get signed by G-Unit Record's co-founder Bang'em Smurf in 2015.[7][6]
The release of his first commercial EP "Accession to the Throne" helped him to reach the mainstream. Later, he established his own record label Black Array Entertainment. With the aid of Eminem’s Shadyville DJs, Mitch released his mixtape entitled “Field of Dreams” followed by “The Reincarnation of Rich Porter” and “Warning Sign (Slime Season 4 No Young Thug)”.[3][8]
