Bhutanese apple
From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki
Bhutani Apples are a major cash crop in Bhutan, primarily grown in regions like Bumthang, Paro, Thimphu, and Haa, with production dominated by Red Delicious, Royal Delicious, and Golden Delicious varieties. The harvest season runs from late August through October. Half the produce is exported, while smaller, bruised apples are often processed into juice.
For agricultural inquiries, the National Plant Protection Centre provides information on pests affecting Bhutanese apple crops.
