Big Fannie Annie
Big Fannie Annie is the stage name of Christie Wilson[1], who was a burlesque dancer born May 3, 1952[2]. She died July 19, 2020 of kidney cancer.[3] Her tagline was "450 pounds of pure sex" [4]; she was 6 feet tall [5]. She was recognized as a legend by the Burlesque Hall of Fame[6]; she was also known for her big tulle "Starboas"[7]. She started performing when she was 20 years old and claimed to be the world's "biggest topless dancer."[8] Big Fannie Annie performed into her 60s[2] and was one of the founders of BurlyCares, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides advocacy and assistance to senior Legend burlesque and variety show performers.[9]
