Biratnagar City Football Club is one of the franchise clubs from Eastern Nepal which is playing Nepal Super League (NSL) this season. Biratnagar City FC is representing the Biratnagar which is one of the Industrial hub of Nepal. This Club has been formed in March 2021 A.D to play the first-ever football franchise league tournament Nepal Super League.

This team has been formed based on the auction carried out before the tournament. Rajeen Dhimal one of the best defender of Nepal nation team is leading the team. The club has also onboarded three different international players such as Pedro Manzi, Adelaja Somide, and Ulrich Siewe this season. The club also includes most promising Nepali young talents such as Kishor Giri, Hem Tamang, Santosh Tamang, Sunil Bal, Nir Kumar Rai, and Manish Dangi.[1] The club has also signed an Indian manager Yan Law one of the youngest football manager in South Asian football.

NSL has started from 24th Apirl 2021 at Dasharath Rangasala, Kathmandu. Along with Biratnagar City FC other 6 teams are participating in the competition this year. Each team will play 6 games in the single round-robin competition. The top 4 teams will enter the playoffs.[2]
