Bisset Boehmke McBlain
Bisset Boehmke McBlain is a law firm based in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. The full-service law firm was established over 160 years ago and is one of the biggest and oldest in Cape Town.[1] Bisset Boehmke McBlain specialises in Corporate & Commercial, Deceased Estates & Curatorships, Dispute Resolution, Property & Notarial and Tax Law.[2]

In 1857 Henry Tredgold opened an attorney's office near Greenmarket Square[3] and was later joined by Henry Hull. The rugby union player and solicitor Bill Bisset entered in 1870.[4] The law firm is named after him, Herman Boehmke and Godfrey McBlain, who was articled to the law firm in 1914 and served in the RAF during World War I and SAAF.[5]
