BitCone (also known as CONE and $CONE) is a cryptocurrency and blockchain community project, founded by the Reddit user u/ecobuddies for the r/ConeHeads Subreddit. This community formed around the Reddit Collectible Avatar "Cone Head", designed by Eric Bateman (AKA u/ChipperDoodlesComic) as part of the 1st Generation of Reddit Avatars collection; Imagination Station on July 7th, 2022.
On the 17th of September 2022, Cone Head sold out from the Reddit Avatar Shop, with a final minted supply of 608 Cone Head NFT.
On the 19th of September 2022, BitCone (CONE) was deployed by u/ecobuddies and announced as an Airdrop for all owners of Cone Head who claimed their Cone Head through Reddit.
1,000,000,000 (1 billion) BitCone were claimable for each Cone Head NFT Mint, which was claimed before the initial deadline on the 17th of October, the 1 Month Anniversary of Cone Head selling out from the Reddit Avatar Shop.
The fate of any unclaimed BitCone was to be determined via a "Conemunity Poll" featuring community suggestions. Turning r/ConeHeads into a “Conemunity DAO”
