BizEquity is a cloud-based, business valuation services provider. It was founded in 2010 by Michael M. Carter, a former venture capitalist. The company is based out of Wayne, Pennsylvania in the US but also has offices in Philadelphia, Canary Wharf in London, Singapore, and India.[1][2][3][4]

After founding BizEquity in 2010, Carter initially approached financial firms as primary clients before finding greater success by targeting business owners and client-facing advisors directly. BizEquity has collaborated with various companies, such as Equifax and Business.com.[5][6][7]
In 2015 and 2016, BizEquity was named in the top 360 private companies in the United States by Entrepreneur Media.[8][9][10][11]
In August 2017, BizEquity, partnered with the Business Enterprise Institute, to launch the Business Valuation Institute (BVI), which will offer Certified Business Valuation Analyst (CBVA) certification to advisors.[12][13]
