Parwinder Singh (born March 13, 1991), Black Joker is an Indian Rapper, Songwriter and Record Producer based in Chandigarh, India.
He debuted in 2018 with his first single (Agaaz), a collaboration with GRV-Black. In his second release, he produced for GRV-Black and SD Sandhu (Kabil). This collaboration opened many doors for him into the North Indian music industry. Soon after this, he started producing for more artists and also released his single (Paakhandi Duniyadari). On August 15, 2018 (72nd Independence Day of India) he released his collaboration with Ron Devil (Kya Main Azad hu..?), raising a question that "Are we really independent?". Black Joker's content often focuses on social issues.[1] He is always concerned with issues arising around him. In the end of December 2018, he released his collaborative work (Chal Koi Ni) with Satish Chauhan and Ron Devil. Day by day, more and more people started recognizing his work.[2]
Early life
Black Joker was born on March 13, 1991, in a middle-class Indian family in Ambala, Haryana, with the name Parwinder Singh. His father was a defence personnel, and they had to change schools every three years as his father was posted to different states in India. After his father's retirement, they settled in Ambala, Haryana, where he completed his high school from Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3, Ambala, Haryana, and completed further higher studies. Black Joker holds a Diploma and Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration.
Personal life
Black Joker is married to Nisha, whom their parents introduced in July 2018. He lives with his family in Ambala, Haryana.
Career
Black Joker prefers to rap in Hindi, Punjabi, and Haryanvi. Currently, he is working with WS Studios, operating in Zirakpur, Punjab, India. He has also created his own record label "Black Joker Music", where he is working with unique talents like Azad, Nikhil Vision, Rubaab, and Dipsne.
