Black Orchid Empire

Black Orchid Empire is an english alternative rock band formed in 2011 in London, England. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Paul Visser, vocalist and bassist David Ferguson and drummer Billy Freedom.[1]

The Band began to establish themselves in the alternative rock scene with their November 2016 release of the album Archetype.[2] In May 2018 they landed a deal with Long Branch Records an imprint of SPV GmbH and released their second album Yugen.[3]

Beside some headlining tours and performances on numerous festivals like Standon Calling, Planet Rockstock, Camden Rocks, and Taubertal-Festival,[4] the band played support slots for Biffy Cliro, Skunk Anansie, InMe, Editors, Black Map and Hed P.E..[2] [5]

In 2013 the band won at the Emergenza UK finals.[5]
