Black Star Inc. (Black Star Incorporated) is an independent Russian record label and production company. The founder and owner of the label is the hip-hop artist and music producer Timati..[1]
History[edit]
In 2006, Timati first organized the production center Black Star Inc.[1]
In 2009, producer Valerii Evsikov left the label. He collaborated with Timati for over three years and authored several songs such as "Potantsuy (Dance)", "Forever", "Plachut nebesa (The Clouds Are Crying)", and "Ne skhodi s uma (Don't go crazy)".[2]
In 2012, the label signed hip-hop artists L'One[3], KReeD, and artist Pavel Galanin[4]
In the summer of 2018, L'One announced that he would release one more album under Black Star Inc. in the first three months of 2019, after which he would end his relationship with the label.[5]
In September 2018, the label signed Philip Kirkorov.[6]
