BlueOptima is a software solution which allows Enterprises[1] to measure the productivity of the software developers they use in-house or within outsourced service providers. This quantity is expressed in hours of Coding Effort.[2]
History[edit]
The research on which BlueOptima is based began in 2001 at The Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, with development continuing on the algorithm at University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory and St John's Innovation Centre, supported by funding from Gatsby and Walter Herriot.[citation needed]
BlueOptima integrates with widely used Source Code Repositories, such as Git.[3]
BlueOptima is headquartered in London, UK, with a second office in Rise, New York City.
