The Blue Ridge Border Battle is the name given to the East Tennessee State–Western Carolina football rivalry.

History

The Buccaneers and Catamounts first played each other in a football game in 1932. The trophy series began in 2018.

The Blue Ridge Border Battle Trophy, a two-tiered wooden pedstal, has been awarded to the winner since 2018. On one side of the trophy is East Tennessee State's logo and on the other side, Western Carolina's logo. A rock taken from the North Carolian/Tennesse border of the Appalachian Trail sits on top.
