Blue Rubicon is a London-based communications consultancy, owned by global advisory firm Teneo.
The firm was established in 1999, by Fraser Hardie (former head of communications at Powergen),[1] and Chris Jones (former home news editor at Channel 4 News).[2]
The firm won PR Week Consultancy of the Year in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2012;[citation needed] and CIPR Consultancy of the Year in 2008, 2009 and 2010.[citation needed] The company was named Best Company for Training & Development by the Sunday Times.[citation needed] In 2011, Blue Rubicon was awarded a place in Brand Republic’s Hall of Fame] in recognition of the defining role the agency has played in the last 10 years.[3]
On 9 July 2015, Blue Rubicon was acquired by global advisory firm Teneo.[4]
