Bob Lee Harris (October 11, 1922 – February 14, 2014) was an American actor, singer, and the father of Ed Harris. He was known for his roles in Riders of the Purple Sage, Pollock, and in Appaloosa. He also appeared on television as Borklund in American Playhouse.
Harris was born on October 11, 1922, in Walters, Oklahoma. He died on February 14, 2014, at the age of 91, from a long illness.[2]
