The Boise Brown Bears are a Tier II junior simulated ice hockey team in the Major Electronic Hockey League's Division 2. The Bears play their home games at Idaho Central Arena in Boise, Idaho.
History[edit]
In 2022, the Major Electronic Hockey League (MEHL) announced that they had approved the Boise Brown Bears would start play in the 2022-23 season as a member of Division 1 but moved to division 2 the for the 2023-24 season.[1] The Brown Bears have been a really good team as they have made the playoffs for the last two season putting up really good regular season standings and getting decently far in the playoffs. [2] The Brown Bears have recently scored the most goals in a game in franchise history for the Brown Bears as they scored 9 goals against the Utah Galaxy in the 2024 playoffs in the division final. [3]
