The Boise Brown Bears are a Tier II junior simulated ice hockey team in the Major Electronic Hockey League's Division 2. The Bears play their home games at Idaho Central Arena in Boise, Idaho.
History
In 2022, the Major Electronic Hockey League (MEHL) announced that they had approved the Boise Brown Bears would start play in the 2022-23 season as a member of Division 1, but moved to Division 2 for the 2023-24 season.[1] The Brown Bears have been a really good team, as they have made the playoffs for the last two seasons, putting up really good regular season standings and getting decently far in the playoffs. [2] The Brown Bears recently scored the most goals in a game in franchise history, scoring 9 goals against the Utah Galaxy in the 2024 playoffs in the division final. [3]
