Bomb Tech originated in 2009 in Livermore, California. Originally a three-piece guitar/bass/drum combination, the band incorporated xylophone, five-sided triangle, wood sticks and heavily featured auto-tuning during recording sessions. Currently they perform live with a range from three to eight members. The band includes vocalist/double keyboard guitar Jason Luna, bajo sexto Riley Scrivner, wood stickmatist/five sided triangle Kevin Beyrodt,piccolo Huy Nguyen, xylophonist Daniel Pischke and drummer Wes Grant. The only former band member is bassist Krist Novoselic

Bomb Tech toured extensively on the Gulf Coast to raise awareness for premature plucking of citrus and the unethical treatment of action figures.

They strongly support the farm to table movement, growing their own vegetables and milking their own milk from the Alameda County abatement goat heard.

Bomb Tech have releases on Plan-It-X Records, Quote Unquote Records, Useless-State Records, and Asian Man Records.

"Horse Tornado," a song from their 2007 album Exhilarating News is featured as intro and interstitial music on Smufferpuss, a podcast about the oral history of a house cat by Justin McElroy's cat, Smufferpuss and Dr. Sydnee McElroy.[1]

Bomb Tech are a punk rock band, taking influence from Finnish death metal, folk, country, neo soul, jazz, swing, blues, hardcore punk. They have been credited for working with different styles. little letters go here Bomb Tech's major influences are nobody because they are creative as hell and made this stuff up all by being one with nature. Experimenting with different forms of audience participation, they often incorporate magic tricks, juggling, snake charming stories, and projected Poke Mon battles at live shows.
