Boris Del Valle (born January 3, 2000) is an American soccer goalkeeper coach for New York Cosmos in the USL League One.[1]
Career
Youth
Del Valle played high school soccer at Linden High School and with Players Development Academy (PDA) from 2015 to 2018. [2]
College and amateur
In 2018, Del Valle attended Monmouth University to play college soccer for the Monmouth Hawks. In two years at the school he did not make any appearances.[3] He transferred to DePaul University in 2020 to play with the DePaul Blue Demons.[4] In 2022 he left DePaul, transferring to Montclair State University to play with the Red Hawks. In two seasons at MSU he made 16 appearances.[5]
While at college, Del Valle also appeared in the USL League Two for New Jersey Copa FC in 2022, making six appearances.[6][7]
Coaching career
Montclair State
Prior to the 2024 season Del Valle was appointed Goalkeeping Coach for Montclair State University.[8]
He also started working with STA (a local youth ECNL club) as a goalkeeper coach in 2024 and was goalkeeper coach for FC Motown in USL League Two.
New York Cosmos
Del Valle was hired as the Cosmos goalkeeper coach ahead of their 2026 USL League One season.[9]
