Born To Sell is an American investments company headquartered in Long Beach, California. It sells access to services used by investors who use the "covered call" and "buy-write" investment strategies.
A former software engineer, Mike Scanlin, founded Born to Sell. He began developing the website in 2009, and upon discovering the costs of hiring a typical American development team, he instead outsourced the job to Eastern European developers,[1] whom he found through the freelancing website Elance. After a year and a half of development, Born to Sell launched in September 2012.[2]
