Boxx.ai is an artificial intelligence-based analytics company in Bangalore, Karnataka and was founded by IIT alumni Ajay Kashyap, Prakhar Raj and Shitiz Bansal in July 2016.[2] It is an AI-based recommendation engine for e-commerce companies which recommends relevant products and services to customers. This helps in retaining customers better. [3]

Boxx uses AI to provide the most relevant and personalized products to each customer across every channel, typically leading to an increase in the client's revenue by 40%. Its AI-based algorithms find hidden patterns in data to map each customer with the most relevant set of products based on their probability to buy.
• The algorithm uses customer interaction data such as clicks, search, filters used and other details such as name, age, location, date and weather to predict the probability of purchase for every product for every customer.[4] The algorithm feeds into the existing buying patterns of the customer along with the additional details on him/her and the products. It further predicts with the highest accuracy what the customer is most likely to buy in the future.
• With the knowledge of most relevant and personalized products for each customer, its omni-channel execution engine delivers these products across every customer touch point - on online portals and digital marketing communication.
Funding and Awards[edit]
Boxx.ai received funding to the tune of $5,00,000 in November 2016 from Unicorn India Ventures which is based in Mumbai. Angel investors Venky Krishnakumar, former COO and CFO of Citibank APAC, Suresh Shankar, founder and CEO, CrayonData and Vivek Bhargava, CEO, Dan Performance Group also participated in this round of funding.[5] Boxx.ai was among the winners of the Amazon AI Awards in 2017.
