Bram Lebo
Bram Lebo is a Canadian lawyer and businessperson resident in Dysart et al, Ontario, Canada.[1]
Early life[edit]
Lebo studied law at the Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994.[2] That same year Lebo moved to the Netherlands where he completed his MBA and Master of Business Informatics from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University.[3]
Career[edit]
In the mid-1990s, Lebo worked for DigiCash, a pioneering electronic currency corporation based in Amsterdam, followed by three years as a business developer and strategist for multinationals in Europe.[4][citation needed]
In 2000, Lebo co-founded Expatica, an online newspaper for English-speakers living in Europe, based in Amsterdam with operations in four other countries. Expatica grew to become the most widely read English-language publication in Continental Europe, in any medium, rivaling major newspapers in readership.[3][5][verification needed] Lebo returned to Canada in 2005[3] and worked for the Government of Ontario, and in 2008 served as the Director of Marketing and Brand Development for ServiceOntario.[6] In 2009[citation needed] he co-founded Gravitas Business Architects.[3]
In 2018, Lebo ran for councillor of Ward One in the Ontario municipality of Dysart et al, but lost to Nancy Wood-Roberts.[7][8] He noted he had been resident in Dysart et al for ten years consecutively; had served on the board of the Chamber of Commerce there for the prior four years, five on the board of Haliburton Highlands Secondary School, and four on the Dysart Economic Development Committee.[7][9]
As of August 2020[update], Lebo practices law in Dysart et al, specializing in real estate, wills and estates, and corporate law.[1]

As of 2018, Lebo had been on and off for ten years, a volunteer radio Host at Canoe FM (CKHA), "the Voice of Haliburton County" in Ontario's "cottage country", hosting the shows "County Hot Seat" and "Half Facts".[7][10] Lebo was publisher of and columnist for the local newspaper in Haliburton County The Highlander between 2011 and 2014.[11]
