Brandee Elliott Educational Projects
Brandee Elliott Educational Projects is a youth organisation based in Grimsby, Ontario that is dedicated to assisting children and youth to actualize their individual potential while fostering a spirit of service to society.
Every Year since 1999, the organisation has been responsible for raising awareness of Citizenship Day in Grimsby. The goal of the day is to inspire others to contribute to society in small but meaningful ways.
The group also annually awards scholarships to graduating students from local elementary and secondary schools to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of local youth.
History[edit]
The Organisation was founded in 1999 in memory of Brandee Elliott, a local youth who lost her life in a car accident in 1998. she was very kind and never let anyone down. Since its inception, the group has been active in the Grimsby area, particularly on environmental issues. Hundreds of native plants and Carolinian trees have been planted.
